Fenton Simpson Newsletter - Christmas 2012

24/12/2012
A short newsletter with our very best wishes for a fabulous Christmas and prosperous new year.

Fenton Simpson Newsletter EU Gender Directive Issue 3.

20/11/2012
Welcome to our latest newsletter and one that we seriously suggest you take time out to read as there are major changes about to impact on the insurance market: The EU Gender Directive - with new insurance contracts set to increase by 25% or more, if you are thinking of taking out new life, critical illness cover or income protection it could be a case of now or never. Compounding this problem are changes to taxation of insurance companies which could mean a double hike in premiums. Brush up on what I minus E is going to mean on top of the gender directive. We have a new feature entitled Mark's Money Matters which is our very own resident 'expert' economist Mark Fenton's view on movements in interest rates and house prices - information largely provided by our friends from the lending and estate agency world. Kath's come up with some really useful tips for what you can do with your standard coffee filters! And if you need any more encouragement to help you switch your utilities following the barage of price increases then look again at our Utility Warehouse offering. We think they are brilliant. Please enjoy the read and as always - let us know your views and feel free to ask us any questions you may have about any of the topics in this or previous editions - back issues are available on our website.

Fenton Simpson Newsletter - Issue 2.

17/07/2012
Welcome to the second publication of the Fenton Simpson Newsletter. We hope you enjoyed issue one and in this issue we are looking to expand on our articles relating to Wills and also to Interest Only mortgages which still remains one of the hot topics in the mortgage world. Equity Release mortgages are becoming more and more popular although they have to overcome a background of historical problems and bad press. We have teamed up with award winning Bower Retirement Services to help unravel the mystery surrounding this potentially very useful financial planning tool. We have a new Personal Loans service to introduce along with details of what we think is a fantastic gas, electric, phone & broadband offering. Feedback is always welcome so please let us know what you think and also any other topics you would like to hear about.
